Horia Ciurtin is a Legal Adviser in the field of international investment law; Associate Expert at New Strategy Center (Bucharest); Managing Editor of the EFILA Blog, a platform of the European Federation for Investment Law and Arbiration (Brussels). He is conducting doctoral research under the aegis of the Amsterdam Center for International Law (University of Amsterdam) on issues pertaining to (deviant) territoriality narratives within international (investment) law. He has been broadly involved in research activities and advisory work throughout the Balkans and Eastern Europe, but also in relation to the Asia-Pacific region. Ion Josan is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. He holds a B.A in contemporary History at the same University. His interests are related to political ideologies, the relationship between politics and religions in the contemporary World, the state of religion in Modernity. Alexandros Bakos is DAVA’s managing editor. He has a background in law, being particularly interested in international investment arbitration, public international law and EU external relations law. He combines his legal knowledge with a knowledge of geopolitics and strategic studies based on a realist approach and, at the same time, focusing especially on the economic relations of major states.
Răzvan Luca holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science at the Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. He has always shown interest for the relationship between the religious life and the political, how the former shapes the latter, and eventually how they both impact the history of man. Vlad B. Jecan is a play scholar researching the political and ethical consequences of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and cyber conflict. He currently holds a teaching position at the University of Georgia at Athens, U.S.A, and is a Research Analyst at Prisma Analytics, Barcelona, Spain. He received a PhD in Political Science from the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and a second PhD in Comparative Literature (currently ABD) from the University of Georgia at Athens, U.S.A. Nani Klepo obtained her Master’s Degree in International Relations from the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Zagreb (2016). Since 2016, she is a Project Associate at the Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO) at the Department for International and Political Relations, where she participates in different international research projects, mainly dealing with security and IR in general. Ioana Petculescu is a lawyer specialized in international arbitration and litigation, practicing in Paris. She acts as a consultant for the aerospace and defense industry and as an expert for the European Union. She received a PhD in public international law from the University of Strasbourg, where she started her career as a lecturer. Iva Zivkovic is a lawyer holding an LL.M from the University of Belgrade, currently residing in Berlin. She has practised real estate law in government service in Serbia (Real Estate Cadastre), as well as commercial, corporate and employment law in private practice.
